How colour changes the mood of the image.
The effects of the different techniques I used on the pictures affected the prints massively. I found that through enlarging the piece, it makes more of a statement and as it is such a dark image, gives connotations of a sinister side to the piece; the use of playful pastel colours gives a childlike theme to the print. The blending and swirling of colours adds to the hallucinogenic feel to the piece, as he’s travelling through the rabbit hole into wonderland. When these are put together they create for me, the many sides of Alice in Wonderland. I’ve always loved his used of bright colour and how it effects the prints, even though they are of the same image; the use of the grid format, I find very appealing to the eye and an interesting way to display prints. This was an ideal way for me to display the varying images of the white rabbit entering Wonderland.
