The exhibition was located within the University. This interim show was to be use as a trial for our degree show in June, to see how we work together as a team and how we situated our work against each other. The exhibition consisted of one large room split into two sections. As you entered the room you were welcomed by the dark space, who’s work was lit, video pieces and light boxes. This was followed by the bigger larger space, 2D work was situated on the walls and 3D work was hung in the middle of the room and corners. Their were ideas to hang the 2D work into sectons of colourful pieces and illustration but I’m glad the final result was to mix the work, as it gave balance to the room.The exhibition was a good experience to help me process my ideas for the final exhibition. It also allowed us all to see who’s pieces worked well together and complemented each other work well. I presented a 7 drawings called ‘A series of thoughts and events’. I was pleased with my drawings and thoughts my presentations of them was right for the exhibition. However I think for my final degree show I would like to look into other displays of drawing and presentation.s know a little more about you.
